Pretty Flowers

Sorry for lack of posts lately! I have been so busy with school work.. Finally its the weekend! After sleeping in this morning, I helped my mom plant some new flowers around the house, because it's finally that time of the year again.... *drumroll* My pool is open! It's all yucky and green right now, but as soon as it clears up my friends I and will be out there tanning whenever we can.

Do you guys have any favorite flowers? Mine would have to be Pink Peonies

Gold Locket

I am so happy I was able to wear my favorite boots one last time before I had to pack them away until next winter! A couple weekends ago I was digging through my aunts jewelry collection and I came across that gold locket. I put it on without asking and wore it all day. It wasn't until dinner my aunt noticed. She laughed and told me how it was my grandma's and that I could have it- Score! Do any of you guys have vintage jewelry?

Let's be honest- I hate Hallmark Holidays, but I feel like Mother's Day is a great excuse to go out and buy flowers and a gift for my mom! Here are some great- springy ideas (prices range from $40-$210). Usually I make something special (like cupcakes or a homemade card), but since I am making bank with my 2 jobs I decided I am going to splurge a little bit. I ordered my mom this bracelet. I am so excited!! Are you doing anything special for you mom?

Usually I despise hitting my alarm clock at 5:47 on Monday mornings...  but today was a little different because I could not wait to put these shoes on. I absolutely love them (and I have Jenn to thank for that- love ya)! Today was also awesome because my Zach and Noelle signed up for the trip to NYC with History Club! It is on May 16th, and I am so so so excited! Hopefully it will get a little warmer this week so I can break out my spring dresses soon! How was your Monday?

My Story

Hello everyone! Thanks for visting my blog. I'm Katherine (if you couldnt already tell). I live in New Jersey and I'm currently a high school junior. This blog is mainly going to be fashion- with some other random thoughts thrown in! I got the idea from looking at so many fashion blogs on tumblr- and I thought, well, maybe I could do one myself.

I would say my style is Blake Lively meets Lauren Conrad. I love sequins, sparkles, and anything beige.

Happy weekend! Jean jackets are huge this spring! Since New Jersey's weather is always unpredictable (80 degrees last weekend- 50 this weekend), jean jackets can keep you warm and dress up your simple tank and jeans combo. PS- thanks Noelle for modeling :)

Last night was crazy but of course fun- I spent it with my girls eating Chinese food and complaining about everything (siblings, boyfriends, even iPhone cases). Today I am off to yoga then I am reffing a lacrosse game and working until 10 tonight.. Ugh. I hope everyone has a productive Saturday!

This is my lovely (and very fashionable) best friend, Noelle, who is rocking some new trends such as the coral pants. I have seen them everywhere from Seventeen to Talbots! Last weekend, I spent some of my Easter money on these (thanks Grandma Gabi)! Since today was such a rainy day we opted to take these pictures inside. Hopefully next week we can sneak out during IRT and snap some prettier backgrounds!
